Hi there!

My name is Emily and I am a graphic designer, an artist, and an art teacher (among other things) living in beautiful Bellingham, WA.  I grew up here with a father who is a graphic designer and a mother who is a painter, and I quickly learned to love both.  Pursuing an education in graphic design and illustration I moved to Vancouver and graduated from Capilano University’s IDEA program. After a number of years in Vancouver, I now find myself back in Bellingham and loving every minute of it. In September 2020 I took over my families business, BellinghamART (an art school for children and adults). When I am not teaching or painting, you can find me going on adventures with my husband Michael and our pack of dogs, getting dirty in the garden, and hiking, running, or climbing in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  My artwork (and much of my design work) comes from my love of nature, colors and contrast, and my desire to inject a little creativity into everyones day.
